Teen Camper in Leadership Training Program
THE "CILT" teen camp LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
(for teens in High School or entering 9th grade)
Do you have what it takes to be one of our Teen Camp Leaders?
Camp James offers a wonderful “CILT” (camper in leadership training) program for high school students (14 – 17 year olds, including incoming high school students). The Teen Camp Leadership program is designed to allow teens to build leadership, and communication, and introduce skills that will help with resume-building for college or future employment. Some schools will even accept CILT hours as community service hours, which many high schools now require (check with your school for verification, each school is different).

Become A CILT Camp LEADER
To become one of the CILT Teen Camp Leader, you must attend at least 3 weeks of camp (5 full days per week). The weeks do not need to be consecutive. Camp in 2024 will operate from June 10th – August 16th.
CILTs are expected to be dropped off between 8:15 – 9 AM and picked up between 4 – 4:30 PM.
Participants must be in high school and/or an incoming freshman. Documentation will be required. There is no tuition for the CILT program, but there is a $90 registration fee, which includes two CILT shirts and orientation.
You will be expected to swim every day as well as actively participate in all of our activities (see the list of camper activities on our website).
Still interested? You will need to fill out the Teen Camp Leadership online application and attend a group interview (let us know if you can’t make it to one of the group interview dates – we can often accommodate this in some fashion).
Are you ready to make a difference in a childs’ life, play all day at the beach, and make some friends in the process? Apply NOW for Our Teen Camp Leadership program as space is limited!
