Camp Staff Filled
Camp 2023 June 5th – August 11th (M – F)
Do you have what it takes to join our team?
In order to complete your application, you will need to have the emails of 3 PROFESSIONAL references. Professional references include current and past employers (paid or unpaid positions), teachers, coaches, mentors, etc. PLEASE do not include friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, teammates, your parent’s friends – we want to hear from impartial people who have seen you in a position of responsibility including being a student, team player, babysitter, and so forth.
You will also need to enter your social security number for our Background Check. This is encrypted and cannot be seen even by us. The actual Background Check will not be ran until after you are offered a position but you will not be able to complete the application without completing this form. In addition, you will also be fingerprinted (again after you are hired).
Your application cannot be saved to be completed at a later time so be sure to give yourself plenty of time and have the above information handy. Be sure to get a reservation confirmation – not just a completed form confirmation.
Lastly, before applying we recommend you read below about the positions and job in general and feel free to email the directors@campjames.com with questions before starting the application process.
Once you make an account or log into your account, be sure to click make a reservation and select staff application.
Personal interviews will be set up after applications are received and generally after your group interview – so be sure and check your email.

“My favorite part about Camp James is the enthusiasm of all the young counselors. I love the silly hats that they wear in the parking lot and that they do crazy silly songs as you’re walking in and everybody greets you and waves to you. This makes all the difference!!!”
